Jesus was very clearly stated in John 16:33 in this world you will have tribulation. Trouble, difficulties. Hard times, are a part of life. As much as we would like to, we cannot escape it, hide from it or avoid it. You cannot hope trouble away, you cannot wish trouble away, and you cannot pray trouble away. Trouble is going to come. I love what Jesus said at the conclusion of John 16:33, in this world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

As much as you have been told how productive and blessed and fruitful and victorious you will be in 2019 (and you will be), it will also bring its share of troubles, difficulties and turmoil. When it happens I don’t want you to be surprised or disheartened or want to give up. I don’t want you to get depressed or feel like you have been abandoned by God. Whatever difficulties come your way in 2019, you have a way of victory through it. Yes I said through it. Isiah 43:2 says when you pass through the rives and through the fire and through the flood. The God who created us created us, created us to be able to glorify him in through the good times and the difficult times. In fact Because Jesus Christ said he would never leave us or forsake us, whatever we go through, he goes through it with us. The creator of the universe, Jesus the Messiah, the Alpha and Omega, the way the truth and the life, the miracle worker, the body healer, the need provider is right there with you. He is making a way, meeting your need, healing your body.

Say it with me,” because Jesus is with me and in me, I am going to be victorious whatever comes my way”. Say it Again,” because Jesus is with me and in me, I am going to be victorious whatever comes my way”.

Here is what I want you to take into 2019, Circumstances and situation may change, but God and his Word to you his love for you and his power toward you never change. Whatever comes your way is not a surprise to God. All that he has said about himself remains true forever. Everything he has told us about why and how the world came to be, about what’s wrong with the world, and about what he has done to save the world will never change. No matter what anyone may say, no matter who denies or defies God’s word, it remains firmly fixed. “Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens” (Psalm 119:89). “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

And because his word never changes, his promises for us remain true: For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38–39) And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10).

Thank you Jesus for being my Rock, my strength and my fortress and my peace in 2019.
